Hartford PD Seeking Help In Locating Stolen Guns

On January 18, 2011 the Hartford Police Department received a report that two weapons had been stolen from a vehicle parked at Kelly Seed Company on Shiloh Road in Hartford . The weapons were described as a Benelli shotgun, camouflage in color, and a Ruger M77 270 rifle with a Leupold scope.


On January 25, 2011 two more rifles were reported stolen from vehicles parked at Kelly Seed Company. They were described as a Ruger 308 rifle with Leupold scope and a Ruger M77 270 rifle with Leupold scope.


Anyone with information on the theft of these weapons is asked to call the Hartford Police Department at (334) 588-2222 or (334) 588-2233.


The gun owners are offering a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the return of the weapons or the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the thefts.
