Troy University’s Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts will rock with the classic songs of Elvis Presley during a performance of “All Shook Up” on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.

A jukebox musical featuring more than 20 Elvis hits, “All Shook Up” tells the story of a straight-laced small town brought to life when a motorcycle ridin’, guitar playin’, hip swivelin’ hunk starts a chain reaction of romances and rebellion through the power of rock-and-roll.

The musical features rousing renditions of “Jailhouse Rock,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “One Night with You,” “That’s All Right,” and “Don’t Be Cruel,” along with many other Elvis favorites.

Tickets for the performance range from $20 to $45. Tickets can be purchased at the theatre office located at 251 Montgomery Street or by calling (334) 241-9567. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.

“All Shook Up” is sponsored by SMI Advertising and Cumulus.

The Davis Theatre’s season will continue on Feb. 8 with a performance of the classic musical “The Music Man.”
