Jackson County Teen Dies In Car Crash

A Jackson County teen is dead after being involved in a car crash.

Florida Highway Patrol confirms it happened just after 1pm Saturday afternoon in Marianna.

17-year-old Devaunte Marjon Lamar Patterson was driving on old Greenwood Road when he lost control of the car. FHP confirms Patterson ran off the road and hit a tree.

The report says Patterson�s Dodge Cavalier flipped over. The teen was ejected from the car.

FHP confirms Patterson did die from that crash.
