Two Arrested On Drug Charges In Washington County

The Washington County Drug Task Force reports a busy holiday season with the seizure of yet another methamphetamine lab.

While on patrol, a Washington County Sheriff�s Office deputy conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle in the Chipley area. During the course of the stop, the deputy discovered components of an operational methamphetamine lab.

Arrested were:

Curtis Goodwin, 33 year old white male of Vernon, FL

� Manufacturing of Methamphetamines

Benjamin McNeely, 36 year old white male of Jacksonville, NC

� Possession of Listed Chemicals Used to Manufacture Methamphetamines

�The holiday season is often a time for most people to unwind and relax. The Drug Task Force is not afforded that luxury.� states Sheriff Haddock. �If anything, these guys work longer and harder to make certain that no one receives a free pass.�
