Lawsuit Filed Against Oil Spill Claims Process

By: Stephen Crews
Updated: December 23, 2010

A series of lawsuits over the BP oil spill ask that a judge to step in on the claims process.

Plaintiffs say BP  is calling the shots on how administrator Kenneth Feinberg handles money distribution. Now, attorneys have asked a judge to throw out a portion of the claims process that requires people give up their rights to sue BP and all the other companies involved in the oil spill.

BP and Feinberg have yet to comment on the lawsuits.
