There were multiple injuries Monday afternoon when two vehicles collided on Interstate 10 at the 94 mile marker at the Holmes-Walton County Line.

An eyewitness said a small black Cadillac four door was headed west on I-10 when it appeared to lose control and slide across the median into the westbound lane, colliding with a Chevrolet sedan.

The victims were taken to North Okaloosa Hospital and Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. One patient was entrapped in the Chevrolet and was extracted by firefighters and EMTs.

Units were on hand from Walton County and Holmes County sheriff's offices, Holmes and Walton County EMS, and Ponce deLeon, Westville, Red Bay Argyle, DeFuniak Springs and Walton County fire departments.

The names and conditions of the victims have not been released yet by Florida Highway Patrol.
