One Dead, One Seriously Injured In Jackson County Tractor Accident

One man is dead and his wife is in critical condition after a tractor accident on Sunday.

The accident took place just at approximately 4:15 p.m. in Alford off of Seay Road and Corbin Road.

Reports indicate that the couple were working on their farm when the tractor they were using somehow switched into gear running both over. The couple have been identified as Robert and Alice Morris.

Mr. Morris was pronounced dead at the scene and his wife was life flighted to Pensacola in critical condition.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office believes no foul play is involved and the investigation is ongoing.
