Updated: November 12, 2010

A Bay County house fire is now an arson investigation.  The fire broke out around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night at a home on Alpine Way.

A report from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy responded to the home where he met the homeowner, Michael Dorch and his wife.

Mrs. Dorch tells authorities that her husband set the house on fire because she didn’t clean it.

Fire officials were able to get the blaze under control.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office arrested Michael Dorch and charged him with arson.
