Auburn Dean Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle

The dean of Auburn University's College of Sciences and Mathematics has died after being struck by a car.

Authorities say Marie Wooten died Friday after being hit by a car while crossing a street in Auburn.

A second pedestrian was also struck by the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.

No charges have been filed at this time.
