Desmond Warren's Departure Leaves Houston County With Huge Hole

Desmond Warren did everything for the Houston County Football Team last season. Warren starred at quarterback, defensive back and on special teams, leading the Lions to the playoffs.

Now, Warren is preparing for his freshman season at UAB, and the Lions are going back to the drawing board. Houston County lost several key players from last year's team, but none more important than Warren.

The Lions open against traditional rival Ashford on August 26th. Houston County plays some tough road games this year, visiting Houston Academy, Headland, Ariton and Cottonwood.

The Lions play key region home games with Wicksburg, Providence Christian and G.W. Long.
