William Xavier Mullins, son of William Jevon and Tonya Kaye Worthington Mullins, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Flowers Hospital after a long struggle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA Type 1). He was 4 years of age.Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Minister Marcus Murdock officiating and Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00 on Thursday prior to services.William was preceded in death by a sister, Emani Sanol Mullins, who died August 4, 2008.In addition to his parents, William is survived by his brothers and sisters, William Jaquan Mullins, Felicity Rae Worthington, Alexandria Olivia Dalton, Alicia La’Shaun Worthington, Aaliyah Nevaeh Worthington, and Jevier Isaiah Jerome Mullins; grandparents, Harvey and Soungia Mullins, and Arlon Devon (Tom) and Deborah Worthington; great grandparents, Nellar McCray, Frances Johnson, and Nell O’Quinn Worthington; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
