Laverne Hathaway of Level Plains, AL passed away, Thursday,
June 24, 2010 at the family residence. She was 86.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Searcy
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Hayes officiating. Burial will follow
in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The
family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Saturday, June 26, 2010 at
the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Henrietta Swim (Greg) Level Plains, AL;
Diana Powell, Enterprise, AL; one son, Mike Hathaway (Lindia) Level Plains, AL;
two brothers, Nelos Breland, Wiggins, MS; Wallace Breland, Brookland, MS; one
sister, Estelle Moore, Perkinston, MS; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
