Tim J. Childs, 52, of Enterprise, died on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, from the chapel of Providence Funeral Home with the Rev. James Nance officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn cemetery with Providence Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
Mr. Childs was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hollis Childs, and his parents, Gene and Lyle Childs.
Mr. Childs is survived by a son, Robert Childs, Enterprise; sister, Mary Susan Childs, Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, Dr. David Lynn Childs, Rome, Ga., and Robert Eugene Childs, Huntsville; special friends, Clara Burnett, Monica Davis and Angela
Davis, Enterprise; mother-in-law, Bonnie Hollis, Enterprise.
