Mr. W. Grady Harden of Newton passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Dale Medical Center. He was 91.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. with Minister Glen VanZandt officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, from 5-7 p.m.
Mr. Harden was a member of Westgate Church of Christ, Dothan. He served as a Dale County commissioner. Mr. Harden was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Harden; and a son, Michael Harden.
Survivors include one daughter, Gayle Smith Hilson, and husband, Billy, of Dothan; one son, Gerald Harden, and wife, Gail, of Newton; one daughter-in-law, Kathy King Harden, of Pinckard; one sister, Mildred Harden, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two brothers: Clifford Harden and wife, Dawn, of Mount Dora, Fla., and Freddy Harden and wife, Sonja, of Newton; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Pauline Henderson.
