Mr. W. Grady Harden

Mr. W. Grady Harden of Newton passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Dale Medical Center. He was 91. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. with Minister Glen VanZandt officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, from 5-7 p.m. Mr. Harden was a member of Westgate Church of Christ, Dothan. He served as a Dale County commissioner. Mr. Harden was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Harden; and a son, Michael Harden. Survivors include one daughter, Gayle Smith Hilson, and husband, Billy, of Dothan; one son, Gerald Harden, and wife, Gail, of Newton; one daughter-in-law, Kathy King Harden, of Pinckard; one sister, Mildred Harden, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two brothers: Clifford Harden and wife, Dawn, of Mount Dora, Fla., and Freddy Harden and wife, Sonja, of Newton; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Pauline Henderson. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark, (334) 774-4551, is in charge of arrange-ments.
