Vanessa Diane Dean, a resident of Midland City, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at her home after an extended illness. She was 41.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Assembly of God Church with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday.
Vanessa was born Aug. 29, 1966, in Eufaula. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arranging flowers and decorating.
Vanessa was a beautiful woman. She was a born again Christian. She had a lovely smile and a sweet laugh. She brought light and joy to many lives and will truly be missed. Vanessa had many struggles with chronic pain, but no more, she is in Heaven wrapped in comfort and peacefulness with Jesus.
Vanessa was preceded in death by her father, Bobby McClain, her grandparents, Jetty McClain, Gladys McClain, Dewey Dorsett and Valley Beasley.
Vanessa is survived by her husband, T.J. Dean, of Midland City; her four daughters, April Martin, Rachel McCord, Anna McWhorter and Stormey Brakfield; three grandchildren, Dakota, Cason and Drake; her mother and stepfather, Paul and Eleanor Beasley; a brother, Kenny Green; two sisters, Janet Proctor and Lisa McClain; a stepsister, Paula Sue Burcham; two stepbrothers, Pete Beasley Jr. and Johnny Beasley.
