Kimberly Nicole Glanton, age 27, a resident of Campbellton, Fla., formerly of Dothan, died early Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at Flowers Hospital following a brief illness.
Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. D. Rittman officiating.
Flowers will be accepted.
Miss Glanton was born June 4, 1980, at Langley Air Force Base, Va., the daughter of Robert Wayne Glanton and Linda Curry Glanton. Kimberly graduated from Northview High School in 1998 and then entered the U.S. Army where she served for two years. She loved to travel and visit friends and relatives. Kimberly was scheduled to graduate from Culinary School this month and pursue a career in the Culinary Field.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ola Tucker and Vyvine Glanton; an uncle, Robert A. Glanton.
Survivors include her parents, Robert Wayne and Linda Gail Curry Glanton, Dothan; daughter, Rakia A. Watford, Dothan; grandfathers, Warren Tucker, Campbellton, Fla., Henry Cotton, Panama City, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Nakia and Carlos Carroll, Dothan; special friend, Willie Ward, Campbellton, Fla.; best friend, Towana Capehart, Graceville, Fla.; aunts and uncle, Linda Warren, Cincinatti, Ohio, Carolyn and Calvin Speights, San Antonio, Texas, Maxine Williams, Sue Glanton, both of Dothan; a host of relatives and friends also survive.
Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, (334) 702-1712, is in charge of arrangements.
