Elizabeth Loutrell Arnold

Elizabeth Loutrell Arnold, a resident of Gulf Breeze, and formerly of Dothan, passed quietly away during the early morning hours of Saturday, November 10, 2007. She was 88. Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at Selma Baptist Church Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Covenant Hospice , 5041 North 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504, or a charity of your choice. Loutrell was born December 23, 1918, in Dothan, where she lived most of her life. She had lived the past 12 years in Pensacola. The first 9 years she lived with her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and JoAnn Arnold. The last three years she lived at the Gulfbreeze Courtyard, an assisted living facility. Loutrell has gone home to our Lord to be with her husband, Casey; daughters, Sara and Gail, and her family. She will be missed. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and JoAnn Arnold of Pensacola; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, Tina and Bill Mckail (Tony, Will and Wyatt), Kathy and Larry Price (Ben and Audrey), Anthony and Leander Arnold (Arabella), Earl and Stephen Kirkland and their families. Also surviving is a dear friend, Mary Desbrew (JoAnn’s mother). Words cannot express our deep appreciation to the entire staff of Gulfbreeze Courtyard and to Covenant Hospice of Pensacola. Our mom was treated as though she were their own.
