Maude G.B. Caudill Schmitt, formerly Maude Daniels of Daleville, 74, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Courtyard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Marianna, Fla.
Maude was born Aug. 31, 1935, in Viper, Ky., a daughter of the late Dewey and Ada Young Caudill, one of 17 children born in the hollers of Kentucky.
She enjoyed cooking, quilting, was a world traveler and dearly loved her family. She served in the United States Womens Army Corp. Maude was a beautician for 40 years.
Survivors include three sons, Harry L. Daniels III and his wife, Lisa, of Rehobeth, Donald H. Daniels and his wife, Marcia, of
Tallahassee, Fla., and Paul F. Daniels and his wife, Deborah, of Panama City, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Breanna, James, Tessa, Ian, Jennifer and Ashley Daniels; three brothers, Jeff Caudill of London, Ky., John David Caudill of Salem, Ohio, and Henry Caudill of Xenia, Ohio; three sisters, Ruby Pardio of Vinegrove, Ky., Verma Williams of Hazard, Ky., and Sue Chandler of Texas.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home conducted by Brother Danny Davis. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at the funeral home and other times at the residence of her son, Paul, 809 School Ave., Panama City, FL.
