Grady Frank Jenkins Sr. of Dothan, a nice and loving person, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at his residence. He was 65.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 at the Sunset Memorial Park Pavilion with his sons officiating and Robert Byrd of Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home and Crematory directing. Flowers are being accepted and can be delivered to 1808 Barrington Road.
Mr. Jenkins was a very intelligent and well known man who was loved by any and every one who knew him. He was an Air Force Veteran and spent a lot of time traveling to different places around the world, but always came back home where he was surrounded by loving family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, two sons, Grady Frank Jenkins Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska, Master Sgt. Marvin Jenkins and his wife, Carrie, of Fairfield, Calif.; a loving and caring fianc�, Bobbie "Doll" Snell of Headland; a granddaughter, Dominique Jenkins of Sacramento, Calif.; a favorite Aunt, Phronnie Johnson of Columbia; special friends, Richard Davis and his wife, Eddie, of Vallejo, Calif., Ike Galloway of Headland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Robert Byrd of Sunset Memorial Park, Funeral Home and Crematory, (334) 983-6604, is in charge of arrangements.
