Mr. Willie Frank Norton, a resident of Dothan, passed Tuesday, Oct. 23, at his residence.
Homegoing celebration will be Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. at Big Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Abbeville with his brother, the Rev. Larry D. Norton, Sr., delivering words of encouragement. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
Mr. Norton is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Laura Norton of Dothan; six children, Frank Norton (wife Linda), Larry Norton (wife Cynthia), Darren Norton, all of Newark, NJ, Cheryl Prophet, Altoona, Pa., Julinda Norton, College Park, Ga., and Margaret Norton of Newark, NJ; three brothers, Joseph Norton of Dothan, Thomas Harsley (wife Harriet) of Abbeville, and Reverend Larry D. Norton, Sr., (wife Rometha) of Dothan; three sisters, Effie Bailey (husband Robert) Chicago, Ill., Jolane Norton and Elizabeth N. Hall both of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law: Susie Reynolds, Newark, NJ, Janice McNealy and Ann McDaniel (husband Earl) all of Irvington, NJ, Charlie Reynolds (wife Lottie) of Jacksonville, Fla., Eddie Reynolds of Ocala, Fla., Rance Reynolds of Irvington, NJ, Elder Truman Reynolds (wife Elaine) of Birmingham, Ala., Willie Reynolds (wife Deloris) of Newark, NJ and L.B. Reynolds of Dothan; a host of grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Eddie Williams of Newark, NJ.
