Ronald Royce Lynn, a resident of Dothan, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center Long Term Care. He was 67.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Pansey with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 2 until 2:45 p.m. prior to service time. At other times, the family will be a t the residence of Janie Bradshaw, 58 State Line Road, Cottonwood.
Mr. Lynn was born April 18, 1940, in Houston County, the son of Emmitt K. Lynn and Florence Pate Lynn. He was a lifelong resident of Houston County and was a retired veteran of the United States Navy after twenty years of service. He was a graduate of Dothan High School and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. Lynn is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane Lynn; brothers, Quentin Harold Lynn, Horace Lynn, Gerald Lynn, Harold Lynn and Larry Lynn.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Walker, Vennesa Geiman, both of Dothan; three sisters, Myra Reynolds, Sarasota, Fla., Janie Bradshaw, Cottonwood, Kathryn Taylor (Pete), Prattville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, (334) 702-1712, is in charge of arrangements.
