Harold Grady Dekle, 84, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at his residence, 5340 Dekle Lane in Malone, Fla..
Mr. Dekle was a native of Malone and had lived there all of his life. He was the son of the Late Ed and Eva Dekle.
He is preceded in death by wife, Eula Mae Dekle; son, C.W Ham; daughter, Mary Alice McDonald; brother Shirley Leon Dekle; sisters, Reba Dekle, Rossie Lee Dekle Ham, Alma Dekle Richards, and Louise Dekle Carmichael.
Survivors include a sister, Myrtice Dekle; son, George G. Dekle; stepsons, Donnie Mercer and wife, Brenda, Hayes Ham and wife, Ruth, all of Malone, Fla.; step-daughter, Eleanor Jean Huckaby and husband, Buddy, of Gordon; grandchildren, Noah and Kaleb Mercer, Kimberly Ham King and husband, Stephen, Stephanie Ham, Marcus Ham, Loretta Huckaby Koen and husband, Ronnie, Cathy Cosby Owens and husband, Tracy, Connie Cosby Hartzog, Cindy Cosby Glover and husband, Joel, Mark Ham and wife Debbie, Denise Ham Himes, Becky Ham Sims and husband, Paul; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Harry Kinchen and the Rev. Gillis Crenshaw Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery in Malone, Fla., with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna, Fla., directing.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at James and Sikes Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at his home in Malone, Fla.
