Loretta Joan Armstrong of Ozark passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Memory Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Hosea Parker officiating. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home in Dothan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross, Wiregrass Chapter, 1004 Montezuma Ave., Dothan, AL 36303.
Mrs. Armstrong was born Feb. 17, 1931, in Shelbyville, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Faye Tucker. She was one of 11 children.
Survivors include her husband, William Armstrong of Ozark; a son, Terry A. Frederick and wife, Brenda, of Portsmouth, Va.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
