Thomas Walter Lockett, 70, of Troy died at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery on Monday, Oct. 22, 2007.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Knoxdale, Pa., on Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be William Davis, Mike Kreis, Tom Murphree, Wiley Locklar, Phillip Morgan, and Bobby Cates. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy King, Johnny Stroud, Andy Murphree, Gene Ducote, Chuck Thompson, Ferrell Boutwell, Leon Hilyer, and Bill Sanford.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Marks Episcopal Church, 401 West College Street, Troy, AL 36081.
Mr. Lockett is survived by his wife, Donna A. Lockett of Troy; daughter, Tina L. Lockett of Pittsburgh, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. and Christi Lockett Jr. of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren, William and Allison.
