Jim McLean, 85, of Troy, died at his home on Wednesday, Oct.17, 2007. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, from 5 until 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Troy on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Alsup officiating. Burial will follow at Pea River Cemetery in Clio with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Mr. McLean is survived by his son, Jimmy McLean of Montgomery; daughter, Cindy McLean (Andy) Cain of Dothan; grandchildren, Tim Cain, David Cain, Allison Cain and Andrew Cain, all of Enterprise; sisters-in-law, June Seagle of Phenix City and Jaon McLean of Clio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann C. McLean.
Mr. McLean was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict he was an Elder Emeritus of First Presbyterian Church of Troy.
The pallbearers will be Earl Ellis, Ken Grice, John Wilburn, Ramond Taylor and Jerry Carden. The family requests that memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church in Troy.
Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge, (334) 735-2375, is in charge of arrangements.
