Miss Elizabeth Meagan Elmore of Newton passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 19.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb with the Revs. Bobby Ned Peters and Ronnie Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Panther Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will be at 511 Pine Acres Drive, Newton (Wicksburg Community).
Meagan was a 2006 graduate of Wicksburg High School and she was very active in the high school band.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m.
Meagan was born on June 8, 1988, in Houston County to David Alen Elmore and Sheryl Lynn Skelton Elmore.
Survivors include her parents, David and Sheryl Elmore of Newton; paternal grandparents, E. R. and Willie Nell Elmore of Cowarts; maternal grandparents, William C. "Bill" and Glenda W. Skelton of Newton; her fianc�, Jeffrey Peters of Ashford; several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise, (334) 347-9598, is in charge of arrangements.
