Ms. Vira E. Hartin of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in Enterprise. She was 87.
Graveside funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, from the Fairmont Cemetery in Red Level with the Rev. Randy Stumbaugh officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at Lee Street Baptist Church at 630 E. Lee St. in Enterprise on Friday, Oct. 12 from 6 until 8 p.m.
Ms. Hartin was born Feb. 29, 1920, in Covington County to the late John Ashley and Beulah Terry Hartin. Ms. Hartin devoted 35 years of her career to Civil Service in the Accounting Department, first at Brookley Field in Mobile and then later at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
