Jimmy Sanders, 57, of Brundidge, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, in Texas.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, from 5 until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Goshen. Pallbearers will be Matt Dunn, Woody Sanders, Todd Sanders, Tim Sanders, Jared Sanders, and Scott Sanders.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Kay Sanders of Brundidge; three children, Adam James Sanders, Katie Marie Sanders, and Alex Herschel Sanders, all of Brundidge; brothers and sisters-in-law and sisters and brothers-in-law, Cora and Bill McMaster of Goshen, Wendell and Ann Sanders of Enterprise, Lewis and Elaine Sanders of Goshen, John and Phyllis Sanders of Goshen, Ann and Robert Dunn of Banks, Harry and Becky Sanders of Brundidge; sister-in-law, Nell Sanders; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathryn and Ferrell Smith of Sebring, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Marla Sanders, parents, Herschel and Elender Sanders, brother, Benny Sanders and infant sister, Dollie Sue Sanders. The family request that memorials be made to the Gideons or to the Hadley Grace May Foundation, care of Tony May, 147 County Road 6654, Banks, AL 36005.
