Mr. Ronald Gregory Pullum

Mr. Ronald Gregory Pullum of Slocomb passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Flowers Hospital, after an extended illness. He was 58. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, in Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. He was born on Jan. 5, 1949, in Hartford, to the late Buford and Opal Shipes Pullum. Survivors include his wife, Rachel Pullum of Slocomb; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Angel Pullum, Billy Joe and Samantha Pullum, and Joey Aycock, all of Slocomb; step-father, Henry Shirley of Panama City, Fla.; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Dianne Shirley of Fountain, Fla., Frances and Eugene Morel of Chipley, Fla., Carolyn Sue Demaree of Marianna, Fla., and Linda Withers of Grand Ridge, Fla.; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Billy Joe and Pat Pullum of Hendersonville, N.C., Bobby Joe Pullum of Marianna, Fla., Jerry Pullum of Perry, Fla., and Don Pullum of Shady Grove, Fla.; two grandchildren, Michael Pullum and Hannah Pullum, both of Slocomb; several nieces and nephews.
