Mr. Byron M. White of Hartford passed away on Monday, Oct, 1, 2007, after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was 49.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb with the Revs. Matt Basford, Richard Thorn and Bruce Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Abundant Life Church (Building Fund), P.O. Box 56, Samson, AL 36477.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time.
Byron was born on Aug. 15, 1958, in Hartford to the late Harold Ray White and Era Martiel White. He served as a deacon in Abundant Life Church in Samson. Byron was presently employed with Michelin Tire Corporation of Dothan.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Hobbs White of Hartford; his daughter, Ashley White of Hartford; one sister and brother-in-law, Tammi and Eric Beasley of Hartford; nephew, Aaron Beasley; father and mother-in-law, Earle and Faye Hobbs of Dothan; brother-in-law and his fianc�, Johnnie Hobbs and Heather Sims of Dothan; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Elizabeth Hobbs of Slocomb; nephew and niece, Brandon and Kacei Hobbs of Slocomb.
Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb, (334) 886-7777, is in charge of arrangements.
