Miss Starla Colleen Yelverton died Saturday, September 29, 2007 in Jasper, Alabama. She was 31.
Funeral services for Starla will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in the Chapel at Ward-Wilson Funeral Home with the Reverend Thaxton Whiddon officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Ward-Wilson Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time. At other times the family will be gathered at the home of Starlas grandmother, Colleen Tyson.
Starla was born in Dale County on November 20, 1975. She graduated from Wicksburg High School where she was a star basketball player. She was known for her outgoing personality, loving life and people.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Dean Yelverton, grandfather, P.J. "Pete" Pridgen, Step-Grandfather, John R. Tyson, brother, Tony Lee Todhunter, aunt, Darlene Henwood.

from Birmingham, mother, Diane Pridgen from Dothan, grandmother, Colleen Tyson from Dothan, great aumt, Norma Sutherland from North Garden, Virginia, sister, Pam Miller and her husband Steve from Dothan, brother, Carl Todhunter from Dothan, favorite uncle, David Pridgen, special friend Doug Wisdom, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
