Edith Mildred Hanson

Edith Mildred Hanson, of Enterprise, passed away, Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, in Elba. She was 79. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Medley and Jeff Noles officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at the funeral home. Ms. Hanson was preceded in death by her parents, Troy F. and Victoria M. Hanson; two sisters, Loretta Trimm and Madge Edgar. Surviving are a daughter, Ann N. Wallace (Doug), Elba; one son, Raleigh M. Sellers (Maricar), Enterprise; four sisters, Doris Hudson, Enterprise, Peggy Limbaugh (Bob), Childersburg, Matilda Cook (Jack), Alexandria, Tenn., Jane Dennis (Sammy), Enterprise; two brothers, Junior Hanson (Miriam), Enterprise; Jack Hanson (Peggy), Enterprise; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
