Edna Merle Jenkins Hall, a resident of Ashford, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following an extended illness. She was 75.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with the Revs. Coley Holloway and John Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. tonight, Sept. 28, 2007.
Potted green plants will be accepted.
Mrs. Hall was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Geneva County to the late Talmer Lee Jenkins and Selma Louise Bateman Jenkins. She was a resident of Houston County for most of her lifetime. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-four years, Earl Hall, Ashford; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Sheila Hall, Cowarts, Danny and Donna Hall, Ashford, Jason and Myra Hall, Millbrook; daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Danny Hatcher, Pansey; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken Jenkins, Melbourne, Fla., Harold and Allie Jenkins, Graceville, Fla., Wallace and Vonna Jenkins, Ashford, Clinton and Lillian Jenkins, Commerce, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Jim Bob Brannon, Rehobeth; nine grandchildren, Chris, Daniel, Sierria, Elizabeth, Tiffany, Justin, Jackson, Addison and Kylie.
Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, (334) 702-1712, is in charge of arrangements.
