CW3 David Michael Stanley of Clarksville, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, as a result of a helicopter crash near Skyline, Ala. He was 33.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 from the Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations for his children may be made to the David Stanley Memorial Fund, US Bank, c/o Laurie Dove, 1816 Madison St., Clarksville, TN 37043, or made directly at any US Bank location.
Survivors include his wife, Kristy Stanley, Clarksville, Tenn.; two sons, Johnathan Tyler Grant and Kristian McGwire Stanley, both of Clarksville, Tenn; parents, Joel and Beverly Stanley; paternal grandparents, Nolan and Allie Stanley; maternal grandmother, Audrey Kelley; maternal great-grandmother, Lavana Limberick; two sisters, Delicia Stanley and Katelynn Stanley, all of Niceville, Fla.; his father- and mother-in-law, Anthony and Janet Grant, Goshen.
