Glen Edward Vann died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in Clarke County. He was 57.
Service will be Thursday in the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dave Rhodes officiating. Graveside service will be today at Gardens of Memory in Dothan at 4 p.m. Visitation will be today from 10 to 11 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: "Almost Home" (Child Advocacy Center) P.O. Box 841, Grove Hill, AL 36451.
Mr. Vann was a native of Dothan, born Sept. 2, 1950, and a resident of Grove Hill. He worked in maintenance for Alabama River Pulp in Monroeville. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Army and he attended Grove Hill United Methodist Church in Grove Hill.
Survived by stepson, Grant Lee Paige Jr. of Huntsville; daughter, Jennifer Vann (Chris) Abston of Jackson; brother, David L. Vann of Webb; grandchildren, Juliana Abston, Kaylee Abston and John Clayton Abston.
