William Dorrance “Bill” Wartman, a resident of Ashford, died Wednesday morning, September 19, 2007 at his residence following a long illness. He was 88. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Memory Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Glenda Davis officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
