Harmly Rhynes a resident of Dothan died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at the Bonifay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bonifay, Fla., after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be Wednesday in Greater Beulah Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. R. Paul Hollman pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Phillips Cemetery, Madrid. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Varner Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
His survivors include, his wife of 41 years, Gladys George Rhynes; one son, Randy Rhynes of Huntsville; one daughter, Wanda Duncan of Dothan; one brother, Harold Rhynes; three sisters, Susie Rhynes, Pearl Rhynes and Annette (George) Wallace, all of Dothan; one sister-in-law, Mattie Rhynes of Detroit, Mich.; brother-in-laws, Samuel (Nell) George of Midland City, Gene (Joyce) George of Dothan and Daniel George of Newark, N.J., and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Varner Memorial Funeral Home, (334) 671-1455, is in charge of arrangements.
