Mrs. Flarrie Beatrice Williams went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, from her home. She was 90.
Funeral services will be Thursday in Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. with Sister Sarah Tomlin, Bro. Byron Bruner and Bro. Al Loper officiating. Burial will follow in Center Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Williams was born Dec. 7, 1916, in Arguta, Dale County, daughter of the late Len C. and Ida Carter Baker. In her early years she worked in the textile industry. Later she owned and operated a home daycare and was a caregiver for more than 20 years. She was a member of Ozark Church of God and a devoted Christian. Mrs. Williams was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband Orville Williams, Sept. 2, 1991; two daughters, Joan Davison and Belinda Williams; three brothers, Edward Baker, Kenneth Baker, Ralph Baker and Hubert Baker; two sisters, Claire Tillman and Sybil Balance.
Survivors include four daughters, Judy Sabatka and husband Roy of Ozark, Faye Taylor of Ozark, Lindra Tomlin and husband Daniel of Dothan, Wanda Cain and husband Michael of Echo; two sisters, Verlin Teal and Ruth Glenn, both of Haines City, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Ricky Sabatka, Donna Yocum, Gil Davison, Casey Davison, Tina Davison, Lee Davison, Catrina Tomlin, Anthony Strickland and April Wright.
Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark, (334) 774-4551, is in charge of arrangements.
