Dustin Colt "Colt 45" Gilliam died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007. He was 22.
Funeral services for Colt will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Christ Church International with the Rev. David Delvecchio officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Christ Church International.
Colt was born Feb. 21, 1985, in Dothan. He graduated from Dothan High School in 2003.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Mathis Gilliam Sr., and great-grandmother, Earlene Purvis.
Colt leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother and stepfather, Jane and Charles Richard Sunday; father, Jerry Mathis Gilliam Jr.; fiancé, Brooke Thomas; brother, Jerry Mathis Gilliam III and his wife Shanda; stepbrother, Brandon Sunday; stepsister, Britney Brodmerkel and her husband Sean; grandparents, Harvey M. and Mello Jo Parrish and Jean Story Gilliam; great-grandmother, Mabel Story; stepgrandparents, the Rev. Charles Edwin Sunday and Mary Grace Sunday; nephews, Trenton Gilliam, Bradley Clements, and Kayden Brodmerkel.
Pallbearers will be Joey Watkins, Justin Smith, Ryan Johnson, Bryan Watkins, Brad Philpot, Kendall Graham and Jeff Smith.
