Mrs. Carolyn Andrews Deloney Bagwell of Ozark died Sunday morning, Sept. 9, 2007, at Dale Medical Center. She was 88.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Elder Dennis Holt officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
Mrs. Bagwell was born July 28, 1919, in Dale County to the late Callie Dale Brown Andrews and Freddie Greene Andrews. She was a member of Ozark Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker who enjoyed her family and gardening. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bagwell was preceded in death by her husbands, Marley Deloney and Robert T. Bagwell Sr., and her grandson, Ryan Logsdon.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and William Logsdon of Ozark; her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Betty Sue Deloney of Newton; one sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Johnny Dawkins of San Antonio, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Clara Andrews of Baton Rouge, La.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Ozark Primitive Baptist Church, C/O Jerry D. Leyva, 165 Dixie Drive, Ozark, AL 36360.
