Linda Ann Walden of Daphne died early Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile. She was 64.
Funeral services for Mrs. Walden will be Thursday in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage at 10 a.m. with Dr. Walter Reeder officiating. Burial will follow in Hodgesville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Walden was born and raised in Coffee County on Oct. 16, 1942, to Razz and Bonnie Davis. She had been a resident of Cottonwood for over 30 years before moving to Daphne about two years ago. Mrs. Walden enjoyed sewing, quilting and going to church where she worked with the youth group on Friday nights. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
Mrs. Walden is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Luther J. Walden Jr. and a son, Jeff J. Walden.
Survivors include her three sons, James R. Walden of Cowarts, Jerry Walden (Charlotte) Walden of Slocomb, Stevie A. Walden (Denise) of Jack; daughter, Patricia Kirkland (Matthew) of Ida, Mich.; grandchildren, Jessica, Seth, Morgan, McKenzie, Molly, Brodie Walden, Natalie Walden, Matt Jr., Ashley, Emily, David, Rebecca Kirkland, Morgan, Hunter, Lance and Gin Walden; brothers, Kenneth Davis of Elba, Jack Davis (Sharon) of Whitehorse, Canada, Jimmy Davis (Alma) of Elba; sister, Gwendal Marler of Enterprise.
Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, (334) 702-1712, is in charge of arrangements.
