Lorraine A. Harris, a resident of Headland, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Westside Terrace, in Dothan, following a long illness. She was 80.
Funeral services will be held at a later date at Greenlawn East Funeral Home in Springfield, Mo. Burial will follow in National Cemetery, also in Springfield.
Flowers will be accepted in Springfield, or memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Harris was born Nov. 23, 1926, in Dover, N.H. She was a former resident of Springfield and retired from Cox Medical Center in Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth D. Harris Sr.; three sisters; two brothers; a son, Kenneth D. Harris Jr.; and a daughter, Susan A. Sellars.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William Harris Sr. and wife, Linda, of Headland; a sister, Eva Clich�, of Dover, N.H.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
