Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson of Ozark died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at her home. She was 74.
A memorial service for Mrs. Johnson will be Saturday in St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Egbe officiating.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 10, 1933, in New Bedford, Ma., to the late Bernadette Cecelia Harper Darling and Clinton Darling. She worked as an electrician with General Dynamics in Covina, Calif., prior to moving to Ozark, where she worked with Pemco until she became disabled in Feb. 2007. She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church and was an active member of the International Aerospace Workers Union in Dothan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Donald Johnson on Dec. 23, 2003.
Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Sharon and Mark Pennington of Orlando, Fla., Nancy Tarngo of Dothan, Bernadette and William McKinley of Victorville, Calif., and Susan and Jeff Jablonske of Miami; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Dana Waller of Euless, Texas, and Ralph Edward Johnson of San Diego; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharlene and Charles Bell of Springfield, Ill.; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Holman Funeral Home of Ozark, (334) 774-5348, is in charge of arrangements.
