"Prince" Johnny B. Hunt of Dothan departed this life on Aug. 11, 2007, at his residence. He was 67.
Funeral Service will be Saturday at noon in Triumph Faithland Outreach Ministry (213 West Crawford St. in Dothan) with Apostle Z. Swindle officiating. Interment in the Triumph Cemetery in Gordon. The body will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral.
He was a member of Triumph The Church and Kingdom of God in Christ in Bellwood, the Shepard of Triumph Faithland Outreach Ministry in Dothan, and was County Prince of several counties. He was a member of the Holy Week Union which included several churches.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife Ambassador Barbara Hunt of Dothan; four daughters, Patricia Jenkins and husband Isom, Kathy Members and husband Demetrius, all of Rochester, N.Y., Hope Nix and husband Howard, and Dallas Sparks, all of Dothan, five sons, Johnny L. Hunt and wife Evette of Jacksonville, Fla., Daron Hunt and wife Sadom of Atlanta, William Hunt of Miami, Dontest Hunt of Rochester and Edward Hunt of Portland, Maine; one sister, Edna Crook and husband Jesse of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one brother, Michael McGadney of Fort Walton Beach; sister-in-law, Ethel Dudley of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two Goddaughers, Jackie Brinson of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Janesia Brackins of Dothan; one Godson, Joshua Works of Greenville; 20 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Vann Funeral Home in Marianna, Fla., (850) 482-3300, is in charge of arrangements.
