Funeral services will be10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Rusty Sowell officiating. Mr. Hillyer will be placed into the church one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Fredericks Funeral Home of Opelika directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Aug. 24, from 6 until 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church Building Fund.
