Mr. Jeff Franklin “JR” Johnson, Jr. of Fernway Dr. Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the family residence. He was 76.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home chapel with Reverend James Lolley officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 18 from 6 until 8 pm.
Mr. Johnson was born December 13, 1930 in Samson, AL to the late Jeff Franklin Johnson, Sr. and Jessie Mae Jones Johnson. He was a barber for over 44 years, having been the owner of the Johnson Barber Shop in Daleville and in recent years working at Jimmy’s Barber Shop in Enterprise. In addition to his parents a brother, Wayne Johnson, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Denise Johnson, Enterprise, AL; 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Dianne and Chet Cooper, Rockledge, FL and Dana and Dan Roach, Panama City, FL; a sister, Mary Frances Clark, Enterprise; 8 grandchildren: Jeff Cooper (Cheri), Scott Cooper (Lindsay), Jeff Johnson III, Matthew Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Kada Newman, Nicholas Newman, and Lennon Roach; 2 great-grandchildren: Jackson Cooper and Ella Cooper.
