Charles "Chuck" Proctor of Graceville passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. He was 60.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond OQuinn officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Community Cemetery near Grand Ridge with James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Chuck was born in Grand Ridge on May 26, 1947. He was a 1964 graduate of Grand Ridge High School. Before his disability, Chuck worked with Golden Peanut Corporation and Registers Dairy.
He was preceded in death by his father, V.G. "Bubba" Proctor.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Annie Proctor of Graceville; mother, Lillie Mae Proctor of Zephyrhills, Fla.; three children, Mark Holifield, Matthew Proctor and wife, Christy, Crystal Proctor, all of Graceville; three brothers, Richard Proctor of Columbus, Ga., Allen Proctor of Zephyrhills, Joe Proctor of Marianna; sister, Sallie Bevis of Zephyrhills, two grandchildren, Amber and Brandy.
James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville, Fla., (850) 263-3238, is in charge of arrangements.
