Mrs. Blondell Thompson Gibson of Dothan passed away Aug. 12, 2007, at Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Facility in Abbeville. She was 58.
Services will be Friday at Peel Funeral Home Chapel in Bonifay, Fla., at 10 a.m. with Jetta Bullock speaking. Interment will follow in the Black Community Cemetery in Black. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home.
She was born Nov. 12, 1948, in Graceville, Fla., to the late Woodrow and Ola Shipes Thompson.
Mrs. Gibson is preceded in death by her parents and husband Hubert PeeWee Alton Gibson.
She is survived by three daughters, Pattie Ann Gibson of Dothan, Lorie Ann Moreland and husband Scott of Newton, Jennifer Ann Gibson of Dothan; two granddaughters, April Brown and husband James and Jesa Frankie Bowling; one great-granddaughter, Madison Brown; cousin, Tina Louise Eldridge of Caryville, Fla.
Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay, Fla., (850) 547-4144, is in charge of arrangements.
