Mrs. Ann Lois Miller Miles of Chestnut St. in Enterprise, AL passed away Friday, July 27, 2007 at her home following a brief illness. She was 76.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, July 30 from the Patterson-Sorrells Funeral home chapel with Dr. G. Lance Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4 until 6 pm. At all other times they will be at the family residence.
Mrs. Miles was born December 14, 1930 in Samson, AL to the late William Henry and Emma Frances Gilmore Miller. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Enterprise. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Karen Rita Cordray and a brother, Louie Miller.
Survivors include her husband, Francis Charles (Fran) Miles, Enterprise; 2 daughters: Dianne Elizabeth Brooks (Terry), Enterprise, AL, Rebecca Jean Cordray (Joe), Nevada, Iowa; 1 son: Francis Charles Miles II (Robbin), Cleveland, TN; 3 sisters: Mary Griswold, Geneva, AL, Adelaide Pate, Enterprise, Frances Louise Inks, Virginia Beach, VA; 8 grandchildren: Markus Derrel Howell, Jeffrey Lance Howell, Kristina Rebecca Milling, Kimberly Ann Cordray, Kevin William Cordray, Matthew Charles Miles, M.D., Michael Robert Miles and SPC Joshua Clifton Miles; 7 great-grandchildren: Robert James Milling V (Quint), Sophie Katharine Elizabeth Milling, Emma Grace Victoria Milling, Sarah Kate Maryann Howell, Elijah Saxon Brooks Howell, Sylvia Brooke Howell and Melody Grace Miles; numerous nieces and nephews.
