Mrs. Barbara Siegfried of Ozark died early Thursday morning, July 26, 2007, at her home. She was 62.
Funeral services will be Saturday in First United Methodist Church of Ozark at 4:30 p.m. with the Revs. Dr. Christian Eckert and Marty Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church sanctuary from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Ozark, 167 E. Broad St., Ozark, AL 36360, to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 126 Hospital Ave., Ozark, AL 36360, or to Westview Memorial Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 484, Ozark, AL 36361.
Mrs. Siegfried was born March 26, 1945, in Bethlehem, Pa., to the late Caroline Kies Heimpel and William Carl Heimpel. She was a 1963 graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem. She and her late husband of 40 years, Edward J. Siegfried, moved to Ozark in 1979 from Orwigsburg, Pa., when he was transferred with the Van Heusen Corp. Mrs. Siegfried was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ozark.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Stacey Siegfried of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Greg and Landra Siegfried of Ozark; one sister and brother-in-
law, Janice and Jack Grace
of Dothan; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Heimpel Jr. of Northhampton, Pa.; three grandchil-dren, Jessica Lennon, Neal Siegfried and Matthew Siegfried; one nephew, Cavan Heimpel.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Grace, Don Hyde, Keith Petty, Douglas Rhodes, Rex Shiver and Charles Woods.
